Cancel Cultr Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Cancel Cultr application and website (the "Service"), operated by Cancel Cultr ("Cancel Cultr," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Cancel Cultr does

Cancel Cultr helps you track when your TV shows finish their seasons and reminds you to cancel or pause streaming subscriptions you may no longer need. Cancel Cultr is an informational reminder tool. We do not cancel, pause, or modify your subscriptions for you, and we do not act as your agent with any streaming service. You are solely responsible for canceling or keeping any subscription.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions and billing (Autopilot)

Cancel Cultr offers a free tier and a paid "Autopilot" plan. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (currently $6.99 per quarter for the Season Pass, or $19.99 per year for Annual Pro) and renew automatically until canceled. If your plan includes a free trial, you may be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. You can cancel your Cancel Cultr plan at any time; billing for purchases made through a third-party app store is handled under that store's terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Bank connections and financial information

If you use Autopilot, you may connect a bank account through our provider, Plaid, which gives us read-only access to transaction data used to detect recurring charges. We cannot move money or make purchases. Detected subscriptions, prices, and renewal dates are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Nothing in the Service is financial advice.

If you opt in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Cancel Cultr about your subscriptions. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using the Service. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

7. Third-party services

Cancel Cultr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any streaming service, carrier, or card issuer named in the app. Perk, bundle, and pricing information is provided for convenience and may change without notice. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it in an unauthorized way, disrupting it, or using it to violate any law or another party's rights.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANCEL CULTR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cancel Cultr harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Cancel Cultr operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
